Basic Info BioEven though 919 has only just had its first birthday, the band has achieved much in the short time its been around. Since the bands inception in early 2005, 919 has played at just about every major live music venue in South Australia and with some of the hottest bands in (and out of) town including Kid Courageous, Wendy Icon, Edward (Vic), In Fiction, Wishful Thinking (Vic), Liability of My Own, Wishlist, Tidal, Smithtown Riot (NSW), Lights Out Berlin (NSW) Line of Departure, Save & Exit and Move to Strike.
919 can best be described as an explosive pop punk punk rock/emo band with strong melodies wrapped in emotive/dark lyrics that find their way into your head and never leave. The bands influences include: Alkaline Trio, Rufio, early Greenday, Rise Against, The Starting Line and early Blink 182.
After releasing two successful 5 track demos and a split CD with Second Only To Wednesday the boys from 919 are also currently working on their much awaited debut EP which will be released later this year. 919 are about to embark on an East Coast Tour.
